This is a REMOTE role, but candidates MUST be based in Eastern Europe.

Technical Writer | About you

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation. You have a strong technical background and are comfortable translating complex concepts into easily understandable content. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with engineers and product teams. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively ensure that documentation is accurate and accessible for all audiences. You are eager to learn about new technologies and stay current with industry trends.

Technical Writer | Day-to-day

  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Use Confluence and JIRA to manage documentation projects and track progress.
  • Create diagrams and visual aids using tools like draw.io, Miro, or Visio to enhance the clarity and usability of documentation.

Technical Writer | Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in using Confluence, JIRA, and industry-standard diagram tools such as draw.io, Miro, or Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS), Generative AI concepts, and Large Language Models (LLMs) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is a bonus.
