Power BI Consultant | About You
As a Power BI Consultant, you are responsible for providing data-driven solutions that enable clients to make informed decisions. You will partner closely with clients to understand their business challenges, translate these needs into technical requirements, and design custom Power BI reports and dashboards. Your expertise will be key in transforming complex data into clear, actionable visualizations that empower stakeholders across the organization. Through your deep knowledge of data analytics, you will offer strategic insights that drive business performance and decision-making. You will also stay ahead of industry trends, continuously refining your skills to ensure that clients receive the most advanced and efficient solutions.
Power BI Consultant | Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and semantic layer designs.
- Design and develop interactive, user-centric Power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Build and optimize complex data models and queries using Power Query and DAX, ensuring performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
- Provide end-to-end BI development support, from data integration and modeling to report deployment and ongoing performance tuning.
- Establish standardized reporting frameworks and promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and insight generation to maximize business impact.
Power BI Consultant | Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Power BI report development, dashboard design, and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service, with a solid understanding of Power BI best practices.
- Expertise in data modeling and database management, ensuring optimal data performance and reporting efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, ensuring project deadlines and goals are consistently met.
